BYOB: Classic With A Twist at Guilford Restaurant and Bar

If you enjoy burgers of all shapes and sizes but prefer to choose an option with classic flavors, then a BYOB with a twist might pique your interest.

All of our burgers start with a 6 oz all-beef patty served on a brioche bun. To keep it simple, we suggest you add the essential burger toppings of mayo, lettuce, tomato, and onion with a slice of swiss cheese on top.

Here’s where the twist comes in! Swap raw onions with the grilled option and add sautéed mushrooms à la a swiss mushroom burger. Enjoy your mouth-watering meal with fries and a pickle on the side. Plus, a glass of red wine like our Rodney Strong Merlot pairs perfectly with this burger style.

BYOB: Spicy

If a swiss mushroom burger isn’t your style, maybe a spicier option is!

Start with the base – a 6 oz all-beef patty served on a brioche bun – before you add the classic toppings of lettuce, tomato, and onion. Now to the spice! Add-ons to kick the heat up a notch include:

  • Hot peppers
  • Chipotle lime aioli sauce
  • Pepper jack cheese

If you want to turn down the heat just a smidge, add fresh avocado or a few strips of bacon to your burger. Fries and a pickle are served on the side to balance out the spiciness of this BYOB dish. Be sure to wash it all down with one of our draft beer options like an Allagash White.

BYOB: All Veggie

Burgers can be anything you want them to be. That’s what makes a BYOB so fun! So if you want to load up on the vegetables but you’re not feeling a salad, a burger stacked high with veggies can get you there.

Top our 6 oz all-beef patty with lettuce, tomato, onions, and pickles to start. Choose between our Chapter One sauce, mayo or chipotle lime aioli dressing, depending on your palate. To incorporate some more interesting flavors, add roasted peppers, sautéed mushrooms, avocado, or all three!

Each of our burgers are served on a brioche bun with fries and a pickle. Plus, pair this veggie BYOB with a side like grilled asparagus, sautéed spinach, or maple bacon Brussel sprouts to really eat the rainbow.

BYOB: Sunny Side Up

All this talk about veggies has us thinking about breakfast! While we serve brunch at our Guilford location, you can bring the taste of breakfast to the dinner table with a build your own burger, sunny side up.

Top your 6 oz all-beef patty with ingredients you would find in an omelet like grilled onions, sautéed mushrooms, bacon, and avocado. Top it off with american or cheddar cheese and don’t forget the fried egg!

Now for a drink. 5 p.m. might be too late in the day for a coffee, but our espresso martini ties the flavors in this burger together nicely.

BYOB: For The Kids

When it comes to feeding your kids, sometimes less is more. They don’t want complicated flavors or ingredients they’ve never tried on their burger. That’s why the best part about our BYOB option is that you can stack it high with toppings galore or bring it back to the basics.

Each omelet is served with breakfast potatoes and your choice of toast. You can also grab a few pieces of bacon or sausage if you eat meat. But we really want to know what you’re putting in your eggs, not beside them.

Consider sautéed spinach, roasted peppers, and avocado for a veggie-inspired brunch option. If you want something a bit more hearty, sautéed onions or mushrooms with your choice of american, cheddar, pepper jack, or swiss cheese is delightful.
