With the warm weather here, it’s time to get outside and enjoy all that the Connecticut shoreline has to offer. That means heading down to the Mystic area to check out the sites and all of the great food too! Whether you’re stopping by to visit Mystic Seaport, Mystic Aquarium, or are just in town to enjoy the beautiful scenery, Chapter One has some amazing meals you’ll want to try.

Lunch in Mystic CT

When you’re coming in for lunch, our Devils on Horseback appetizer is a must. We stuff Medjool dates with gorgonzola cheese and wrap them in smoked bacon with a balsamic reduction. Follow that with a Maine lobster roll served hot or cold and piled high on a buttery roll with Old Bay chips.

If you’re more of a meat lover, our Chapter One Burger is a tasty choice. Get a 100% Angus beef burger with cheddar cheese, Chapter One sauce, and all of the toppings with a side of fries.

We also offer delicious lunch entrees like a vegetarian stir fry. It’s a medley of sauteed peppers, onions, spinach, edamame, mushrooms, tomatoes, scallions, sesame seeds, sweet soy, and Jasmine rice.

No matter which dish you choose, you’ll leave full and happy!

Dinner in Mystic CT

Dinner at Chapter One Food & Drink starts off with a selection of appetizers including bacon-wrapped scallops. You can’t go wrong with fresh Stonington scallops wrapped with bacon in a house-made bourbon glaze.

Choose from entrée selections like the Prime Filet Mignon. This 8-ounce prime filet is char-grilled to perfection and served with garlic mashed potatoes and asparagus. We also offer a Zuppa Di Pesce that brings the flavors of fresh local clams, mussels, lobster tail, shrimp, and the catch of the day in a zesty red wine marinara.

If you’re looking for smaller dinner options, our burgers and sandwiches also aim to please. Whether it’s a burger, chicken sandwich, or lobster roll, you can’t wrong with either one!

Brunch in Mystic CT

The weekends call for brunch at Chapter One. Our brunch menu has something for everyone. We feature our Chapter One omelet which includes three eggs, caramelized onions, roasted red peppers, goat cheese, Chapter One home fries, and your choice of toast.

For those with a little sweet tooth, there’s our stuffed French toast. Two slices of thick-cut bread are stuffed with maple brown sugar cream cheese and served with real maple syrup and whipped cream.

If you prefer the lunch side of brunch, try our calamari. Egg-battered rings and tentacles are deep-fried and tossed in white balsamic dressing, cherry peppers, and a lemon wedge.

There’s also our Chapter One Pastrami sandwich. Steamed pastrami, caramelized onions, Swiss cheese, and Chapter One sauce are served on toasted rye bread with French fries.

All of our meals use only the finest ingredients and are made fresh to order. Of course, you can enjoy all of these dishes al fresco with our outdoor dining. The outdoor ambiance and delicious meal are the perfect combination for a wonderful summer outing.


When you want a cocktail to go along with one of our delicious meals or are just stopping by for drinks with friends, our bar never disappoints.

Our drink menu has signature cocktails like our Mystic Manhattan. Woodford Bourbon, Carpano Antica Vermouth, Peychaud’s bitters, and Luxardo cherry create the perfect Manhattan. Other signature cocktails include the Drawbridge Cosmopolitan. Our bartenders mix Grey Goose L’Orange, lime juice, and raspberry puree to create this delectable drink.

You can always choose something from our seasonal menu. Our mixologists have created the Club Car by combining Hennessy, Grand Marnier, lemon, orange juice, and cinnamon rim. The Sea-Port Martini is another great choice. Ingredients for this drink include Bulleit Bourbon, Graham’s Tawny Port, muddled orange, Luxardo cherry, vanilla, and egg white.
